The Victoria Inn is located near the airport and has a lot of rooms and tons of space for large wedding receptions. Decorating these large spaces can be a challenge and a little expensive since they’re basically empty rooms with no interior architecture or decorations that stand out. With that said I’ve shot here plenty of times and have gotten tons of great photos here.
With portraits you need to be a little creative as I was with Arvine and Darlene’s wedding. Again always trying to go for those awesome, different and creative photos that really show the emotion and connection of the couple. There isn’t a whole lot around the building as it’s just a parking lot with a few other hotels around and more parking lots so keeping it simple is better here.
This location will be convenient for out of town guests if they are staying at the hotel because the airport is only two minutes away.

Arvine and Darlene who now live in Alberta had a beautiful summer wedding here in Winnipeg. The day went perfectly as we hit up the legislature building, Fort Garry Hotel (outside), hamilton building and the exchange for their portraits just before the rain started to fall down. The reception was full of fun games and dances with live singing from a close friend. Enjoy these highlights!
Patrick and Monica’s wedding was celebrated over the course of a week before the ceremony at Dr Raj Pandey Hindu Temple because of the Hindu traditions that are preformed just like other Indian weddings. This just means more partying after and as we all know Indians know how to party. Now mix in the Caribbean side to things and now you have an epic wedding.
