Jason and Wajihah might look a little familiar if you go to Rob and Priya’s wedding because that’s where we met. They booked me soon after and really wanted a fall engagement pictures at Jason’s cabin. It was special to them and also really magical in the fall.

Well this was a challenge because we all know the window for the fall leaves to change and stay on the trees isn’t very long. I was off to Europe for the first week of October. Then back to Winnipeg for a day and then off to New York for another week for a wedding. That was our window, just 1 day.

Being back fresh off Octoberfest in Germany I was super excited about this shoot. They picked me up and the clouds all the way to Jason’s cabin screamed rain. It drizzled the whole way there but we were ready for whatever nature wanted to throw at us.

Luckily the rain stopped as soon as we started and then the sun came out.. magic!!

I saw a sunset you can only dream of.. right over the lake as Wajihah and Jason danced on the beach. They told me they get a lot of comments about the sunset picture and if the colors are real. They are and they have to show my iPhone video that I made of them dancing. I don’t ever photoshop colors into my photos if they’re not there. You can view the video here of them dancing Sunset

It was just an incredible day spent with two really awesome people and I couldn’t have imagined it any better then it was.
