Kings Park Engagement

Monty and Sumeeta are always laughing. Since our first meeting at Starbucks for coffee, I knew that these two were going to be awesome to photography. Their chemistry is off the charts!

Every time  I would go to my bag for another camera lens or whatever these two were always just dancing, hugging or laughing together. I had so much fun photographing them that I didn’t have to direct them at all. All these photos are naturally who they are which is what I love about their photos.

I really love having my couples true personalities and moments shine in my images. With these two that was effortless.

I know this park very well as I run in it almost every day when it’s nice. As I run in it I usually think of crazy ideas for photos but I didn’t need any crazy tricks for this one.

I kept it very simple with their shoot and just focused on the moments here because there was just so many. At the end of the shoot, we tried to get some sunset which isn’t so great at Kings Park. So we jumped in our cars and rushed it towards Waverley hoping to catch some of those colors in the sky. But no success haha. The sun beat us down but we still managed to squeeze in that final image.

I’m really looking forward to their wedding next year. I’m sure I’ll have an abundant amount of moments and love to photograph which will keep me on my toes. It will be a crazy week of festivities as Indian weddings are usually five days of crazy fun.

Enjoy this Kings park engagement session from Winnipeg!

Future update: Here are their awesome Wedding Photos
