The Forks engagement shoot

This forks engagement shoot took place right in the heart of Winnipeg starting off at the Human Rights Museum with these two beautiful people. They’re getting married inside this gorgeous venue next year. So I had the awesome opportunity to make some beautiful photos inside and around the building. An Engagement Session at the Forks Market is the perfect spot because it’s so central. You have lots of options when it comes to architecture and nature. When you want more buildings and urban shots it won’t take long to go downtown.

With fall here and it’s beautiful yellow colours we made the best of it trying to capture them around the Forks. These guys were such good sports as they trusted me fully when I told them about laying on the ground at the museum. When we got the shot and I came back down they didn’t want to get back up. They were super comfy and enjoyed laying down looking up at the ceiling together haha.. I’m sure they’ll always remember that when they come back to that spot 🙂

Alvin and Amanda have known each other since they were kids. They’ve been at each others sides forever and inseparable. Really makes for a Hollywood or should I say Bollywood story. It’s definitely the cutest story.

I really like photographing downtown because there are so many options and a Forks Market engagement shoot is always a great idea. There are trees and different structures to mix it up. Also the exchange district is there if you want architecture and everything is close by. It’s one of my go to locations and I hope you really like some of the variety in these photos. We had some beautiful light near sunset and their chemistry made for perfect photos.
