Hi my name is Harinder and I’m the lead photographer for Singh Photography! I’ve been shooting professionally for almost 10 years when I started this company.

I’m currently in-between my home in Canada and my other home in Germany with my girlfriend Angela.

I was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. I love this city because quite simply it’s my home. I have so many memories here with friends and family so it’s just a big part of who I am. With that said I do have a love for travel. My parents took me along with my two brothers to India every couple of years to visit relatives as kids. It opened my eyes to a completely different world and culture.

Ever since those travels to the east, I couldn’t get enough with traveling and exploring. I’ve since traveled to Iceland, Central America, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Yosemite, All of Route 101, Grand Canyon, Bali, Phillippines, Paris, Belgium, Italy, and many more places.

On the wish list is still Japan, Africa, Morroco and more of South America.

I also have a huge love for sports. In my sparetime I play ice hockey usually once or twice a week and if I had one dream growing up it was to make it big! lol
I’m a big Jet’s fan.

I wish I could say I found photography early in my life but that wasn’t the case. Although I photographed our camping trips on some old film cameras as a kid I didn’t do much photography until my late 20’s (I’m in my 30’s now : p) I took my camera to my friends wedding some time ago and it was a beautiful Manitoba summer wedding that took place out in the country with an epic tent reception. The tears, the joy, and the stories that came out of it were just amazing. The whole day was really inspiring and I knew right away that I wanted to do this. I’m drawn to emotion and I love photographing people so it was really a no-brainer for me.

My ideal couples are carefree who just want to enjoy their day with their friends and family giving me the freedom to be as creative as I can be.

I love the challenge of photography. The art of it and the people I meet through it. I’ve made so many new friends and it’s taken me to so many places I would have never gone before.

I can’t wait to find out where it takes me next or who I’ll meet.

It’s an adventure.
