Winnipeg doesn’t have the beautiful mountain tops or coastal beaches that other photographers might have. Instead, we have golden prairies with gorgeous sunsets, beautiful lakes, and lots of tiny beaches to explore.

Engagement Photography in Winnipeg
As a professional wedding photography studio, we get our fair share of engaged couples. In doing so, I spend a lot of my summer days photographing engagements. Typically engagement shoots are done during the week as weddings take up the weekends. However there could be a weekend available that could work if you just inquire, we could work something out.
Winnipeg has a lot of great engagement shoot locations and they are all similar to the wedding shoot locations. With that said I do try to get my couples out of Winnipeg for something different. For instance last year I did an engagement shoot in Hecla, Birds Hill, and Steep Rock.
Since your having a Winnipeg wedding, why not go out of the box and get some different photographs? For instance, check out the bottom photograph we made at Birdshill Park around 11 pm at night.
Having a great experience in your engagement session is important. Therefore being prepared is very important for a shoot like this. So I put together a list of tips for engagement sessions that you can check out here. to help you out.
