Indoor Weddings are all different and it’s important to know all the rules and possibilities when booking a wedding venue. Please look at some of the awesome indoor wedding venues that we’ve photographed over the years.
For tips and advice on how to book your wedding venue please refer back to here for a guide that I will be publishing soon.
There are so many cultures and traditions that have their own unique wedding venues and understanding them is very important. Some wedding venues have rules for photographers and different kind of lighting that could and will potentially effect your photography and video.
When choosing an indoor wedding location, determine if it feels right. Maybe it’s your local church that you’re familiar with but if not just go take a visit and spend some time there. Does it feel right to you? Can you envision your wedding there? What’s the temperature like, too cold or hot on a summer day?
Check the indoor wedding venue during the time your ceremony will be. Just to see if the lighting conditions are optimal to your liking. You might like the daylight coming in through the day but not on a cloudy or dark day.
Some cultures don’t allow shoes to be worn or guests must cover their heads. This is important information for your guests so they can be prepared and respectful.
Also check to see if your indoor wedding venue is in an area that’s easily accessible to guests and not too hard to find with good parking.
