Congrats you’re getting married! A summer engagement shoot is a great opportunity to take advance of beautiful weather and summer outfits.
I photograph a lot of my engagement photo sessions in the summer typically between June and August.
Most if not all of my summer engagement sessions are between Monday to Friday because weddings are on weekends. If the couple books me for a destination engagement shoot that requires a weekend some exceptions can be made. However it would have to be a very interesting shoot with a higher budget to replace a wedding.
The summertime can bring some challenges with weather and bugs so I’ve put together some engagement shoot tips. You can find more info and advice regarding weddings and engagements in the client resource section.
For all my summer engagement shoots I always recommend some area’s in the city to shoot in. However there are many beautiful locations outside of Winnipeg as well. To travel outside of Winnipeg there would be a surcharge for the time and travel but its worth it.

In the end we’re creating beautiful wall art for you both to be inspired for years to come. These photographs should bring you back to these exciting times and make you feel happy. So go out of your way and go all out on your engagement shoots.
Before we even start the photo shoot I spend a great deal of time to get to know you both. It’s important to really find out who you both are as individuals and to each other so we can create authentic and unique photographs of you both.
