Sunset wedding pictures are something every couple should consider when hiring a professional photographer.
If you don’t think you’ll be able to get sunset pictures during your wedding then planning them for your engagement or post-wedding shoot can also work.
Why does everyone love sunset wedding pictures or recommend them? Because nothing beats that warm glowing light. Sunset light is also called golden hour for that same reason and every photographer loves shooting in it.
When planning your wedding you should definitely consider a small break in-between speeches or events to run out for 5-10 min if possible. I’ve never had a couple regret it and we never leave guests waiting if planned correctly.
These same strategies go for night wedding photos. If you’ve missed the sunset don’t worry because I can usually still create fake sunsets with my own lighting magic.
The light after the sunset has dipped can also be beautiful and is referred to as blue hour. A lot of people go right home once the sun has set but stick it out. I sometimes have the most beautiful light and clouds right after.
If you’re having a wedding or engagement let me know! I only take a limited amount of weddings or bookings a year and booked two years in advance.
