Here’s a great resource for Winnipeg wedding receptions. I know most of my couples favourite part is the reception. So let’s get talking about what makes them great and not so great.
Firstly having a plan is key. When it comes to planning your reception you need to have a check list.
- Guest Count
These are usually the top key components to any wedding reception so make sure you’re on top of these items. It needs to work not just for your guests but your budget.
You’re creating an experience and if you need to cut costs somewhere to give a better experience then that’s what has to happen.
Winnipeg has plenty of reception venues choices to choose from and some better than others. You’ll firstly have to narrow down your guest list and figure out where you can fit everyone.
Next you want to find out how good the food is. There a lot of wedding reception venues that fail in this department so make sure you nail this part.
Some Winnipeg reception venues can’t hold more than 500 people and if you’re throwing a big fat Indian wedding than you’ll be limited.
For large weddings I would recommend the convention centre or Fort Garry Hotel Grand Ball Room.
If you’re wondering what it costs per guest you’ll be looking at around $100 per plate.
I will update this with more info once I send out a questionnaire to all my clients after the next wedding season.
Some Winnipeg wedding receptions happen outside of Winnipeg. I’ll attach some different wedding venues down below for you to peak at. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me.
