Manitoba hydro building

A A in Wedding venues

The Manitoba Hydro Building is a newer building and now a popular location for indoor photos with the waterfall backdrop. They have some nice couch’s that can be moved for photos and the windows from around and above give some nice light for pictures. It’s free so booking it as a back up is a great idea and if you don’t need it you don’t lose anything.

The most popular feature of this location are the two waterfall and I’ve heard there is an amazing terrace in the building but unfortunately off limits to the public unless you have serious connections.

It’s great for wedding party shots as well because there’s tons of space. You may have an event here as one of my clients had their engagement party here.

There’s a clay oven restaurant and Rudy’s which could cater your food if you choose. The location is also very central to everything and parking would be city street parking for your guests.

* Update: The Manitoba Hydro Building is not allowing indoor bookings anymore for photo shoots.
