St Ignatius Church is one big giant church on Stafford street with beautiful high ceilings and plenty of seating. It’s a Roman Catholic church and I recently just photographed Roman and Amanda’s wedding here.
It was a gorgeous ceremony and wasn’t too dark at all for our cameras. The officiant was really nice and we had plenty of angles to cover their wedding with no issues at all. Just an overall great venue for a Roman Catholic Wedding. There isn’t too many photo opportunities outside the church because it’s located in a residential neighbourhood surrounded by houses but only being a five minitue drive to downtown I had no issues getting our bride and groom the pictures they were looking for.
Parking can be tricky here if you have a lot of guests because it’s mostly residential street parking so telling people to get there just a little earlier is a good idea. Another thing to consider is traffic because if you’re having an afternoon ceremony getting there on time can be an issue if you don’t leave early enough.

This was the second St Ignatius Church wedding I’ve photographed and the second Sri Lankan wedding. Their ceremony at the church was beautiful. I still remember when those church doors opened for Navi to walk down the aisle. Himath’s expression when he first saw his bride come down that isle was beautiful. I’m so happy […]
These two met in dance class where I’m sure Ronan used to his comedian charm to win over Amanda. They are a really smart and fun couple who had a 50’s hollywood themed wedding that was inspired by there love for movies. So many beautiful genuine moments captured at this wedding that really shows you how much love there was between these two and their families. Enjoy!
