Whitetail meadow is a beautiful wedding venue just outside of Winnipeg on the corner of Hwy 311 and Hwy 200. It’s a beautiful intimate location with gorgeous grounds to photograph on. This venue is perfect for a small to medium sized wedding.
It has a pond in the back with a boat, a bridge and a little casita or guest house just to the side.
Since this wedding venue is just outside of Winnipeg the couple usually get taxi vouchers or a scheduled bus to return guests back to Winnipeg so people don’t drive home drunk.
A gorgeous little feature of Whitetail Meadow is the little casita or guest house. It’s perfect for the bride and groom to stumble into after the reception. I personally love it for the photo opportunities that it creates. There’s a gorgeous bath tub in the master bathroom, a stair case and some cool features on the outside.
You can add bean bag throwing and some other games for guests outside during cocktail hour to keep them entertained. There’s a deck for food, drinks and some areas for people to relax and sit down.
It’s a very popular wedding venue and I’m sure it gets booked a year to two years in advance so make sure you inquire early.
We loved photographing Jason and Wajihah’s fusion wedding here and the owner and staff were really helpful and pleasant to us and the entire wedding party.

They had their wedding party outside each home with a guest count and hand sanitizers ready to disinfect and keep track of the number of people. Armed with rules and […]
This Indian tent wedding was the first-ever Sikh tent wedding at the Sturgeon Gurdwara in Winnipeg. If you haven’t seen PART-1 yet I’d recommend starting there. With Covid-19 impacting all the weddings this year Kulwant and Raman had to scramble with their planning. For instance, how do you get more of your loved ones to […]
This Whitetail Meadow tent reception finishes off the blog posts for what was a great week of celebrations and love. COVID receptions took a huge hit this year with social distancing so a lot of adjustments had to be made. With the year full of uncertainty, Whitetail Meadow wasn’t in the picture at first. However, […]
