Fairmont Hotel Wedding Reception

Part 2 of Navi and Jessica’s wedding brings us to the Fairmont hotel wedding reception. If you haven’t seen part one yet, I highly recommend you start here. With a bunch of wedding celebrations behind us everyone was super excited for this day. The beautiful Fairmont Hotel is extremely popular for wedding receptions and is conveniently right in the heart of downtown. This makes it very easy to get to our photoshoot locations downtown because everything is just around the corner. On this day we had rain, chilly winds and more rain which wasn’t the ideal situation for outdoor shooting. However, fortunately we had a studio booked in part of our back up plan which worked out great and always recommended especially when you know weather will be an issue. We ended up at Allure Studios and managed to snap a few quick photos before driving back to the fairmont.

With that said we started the reception with some cake cutting and had amazing speeches from loved ones. Some tears and laughs were shared with the speeches as the stories were exquisitely executed with heartfelt and hilarious stories. When Navi and Jessica got up to the podium there were teary eyes by both families. Navi shared his heartfelt gratitude and love with everyone that he knew. You can see how proud the families are of Navi and Jessica and their immense joy just radiated out of each of them.

The partying began right after a Punjabi dance performance and didn’t let up all night. The dance floor stayed packed and bumping the whole night. he sound and lighting provided by AK productions and DJ Super Singh providing the music. The Fairmont hotel has a huge hall on the second floor and I believe there was roughly 400 guests present so you can imagine how awesome it was.
