Location: St Boniface Golf Course Wedding
Couple: Mike + Jenny
This beautiful St Boniface Golf Course Wedding started off with two beautiful tea ceremonies. The couple first go’s to each others house and offers the elders tea in exchange for their blessings. This is a custom in the Chinese culture and just like in the Indian culture they also have door games.
The groom isn’t so lucky when it comes to entering the brides home. They have to play various games which can involve embarrassing moments. In this case the guys had to pass a piece of sea weed paper across to each other only using their mouths. You can imagine what that looks like and how the guys felt. But they know what they signed up for and were great sports.
The games didn’t end there. Mike had to guess his brides hand among the many other woman at the reception. I guess it was better then another wedding where the bride had to feel the groomsmen’s butt’s to guess her groom lol. The games are clever and can go in any direction which are really funny and get the crowd involved.
The ceremony was sweet and the weather was gorgeous for this outdoor wedding. The next stop for portraits was the Legislature building and outside Kum Koon Garden restaurant. We had some beautiful slowly light so I snuck them out for a few shots during the reception as well.
