Winnipeg Engagement

This Winnipeg engagement shoot was just outside Winnipeg near Birds Hill. Justyn new a secret spot that was unique and it was a fun adventure getting there and shooting somewhere different.

When love, confidence, beautiful light and location line up you get fireworks. Justyn and Sumeet have great chemistry and photographing them was so much fun. Thank you for your energy that day and trusting me through out the whole process.

Typically Engagement shoots in Winnipeg happen in the same areas time after time and can get stagnant. So this shoot was really refreshing and their energy was just awesome. I’m blogging this shoot a little late just like everything this year and I’ve already photographed their wedding. This is because after Covid like most photographers I got extremely busy and blogging went to the bottom of the list. So after this please who check out their wedding as well, lots of great moments and photos.

Now back to this Winnipeg engagement shoot that is technically just outside Winnipeg.

I love how the energy this engagement photo brings. It looks like we’re in Nevada or somewhere exotic.

I love the abstract of this engagement photo from their forrest part of the shoot. There was a small tree’d area around the desert sand spot and I thought it would be cool to get some variety.

The first photo in the group might just be my absolute favourite from the whole set. It feels like a movie poster and I think it’s perfectly executed. What do you think?

Now I know I’ll get a lot of questions to where this spot is and honestly I have to say right off the bat it’s very hard to get to. You need a 4×4 truck that’s raised because you have to climb sand dunes to get to it. It’s a location that’s meant for dirt bikes and motor cross activities which is what Justyn loves to do.
