The metropolitan is often referred to simply as “The Met,” This venue is terrific for it’s location and most importantly it’s interior design. It’s an old building that’s been brought back to life by Canada Inns and is great place for receptions. The old classic design of the interior space with it’s columns and chandeliers makes this venue very unique to the city.
There is a very cool dining area that is a must for photos on the 2nd floor. You also have balconies on either side of the hall to photograph from giving you different angles of the dance floor or stage.
The chandelier on the ceiling is bright and colourful and must be taken advantage of for photos as I did with Ronan and Amanda. It made for a beautiful closing shot for their 50’s hollywood themed reception.
