The St Norbert Arts Centre is right beside the monastery which is an old childhood favourite place of mine. I grew up in St Norbert and have some childhood memories growing up and playing around here. It’s very popular for photographers and photo sessions as you’ll see family shoots and weddings here all the time on the weekends.
The opportunities here are endless for each photographer and their style. I still come here without weddings just to shoot around with friends because it’s a cool old unique structure for Winnipeg. The other similar building that I could think of would be the St Boniface Cathedral.
The St Norbert Arts Centre next door is very popular for weddings and so is the Southwood Golf Course which is on the other side. Both of these venues are for small to medium sized weddings and are most popular during the summer.
