Bridges Golf Course Wedding

This was a spectacular Bridges Golf Course wedding! It was an early start and although none of us slept the night before we were ready. I had trouble sleeping for the last couple days leading up to this wedding. Maybe I was just excited or nervous about this wedding being my last one of the year I don’t know.

However, with caffeine in my system and adrenaline pumping I took off to Karen’s hotel room where the girls were getting ready. It was a beautiful day to get married because the sun was blazing down on us the entire day. Furthermore, with such a relaxed timeline we made the best of every opportunity for photos.

Bridges Golf Course Wedding

This Bridges Golf Course wedding started with the first look downtown in the exchange district. Karen and David were super excited to see each other as I faced them with their backs together ready for the reveal. I remember after they turned around how big their smiles were. They were just glowing and super happy to get this wedding started.

Portraits

But first we had to take some portraits while we were here downtown so stepped into the millennium centre. This is a great little spot for wedding photos as it has a staircase and an upper floor with a unique window.

After the portraits we had one more stop to make on the way to the wedding at Bridges Golf Course. You see, Karen’s father had passed away not too long before this wedding and Karen had to make sure to go see him before. With that said, it felt like there was a huge hole in this wedding because of how much he was missed. Karen’s father was included throughout out the wedding through video and photo’s and we all felt like he was there in spirit. Her brother danced with her during her father daughter dance at the reception, with many tears in everyones eyes.

Ceremony

The Bridges Golf Course wedding ceremony took place under the dying golden sun. It was emotional and sweet with tons of joy in the air.

With the ceremony ending just in time we ran out to catch the dying sun outside for some more photos. It was a beautiful romantic winter wedding.
